Clinical Supervision

Continued supervision is a crucial component of a therapist's professional development and ethical practice. In the ever-evolving landscape of mental health, ongoing supervision ensures that therapists maintain the highest standards of care, stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices, and navigate complex clinical scenarios effectively. Through supervision, therapists receive invaluable feedback, guidance, and support, fostering personal growth and enhancing their ability to provide quality treatment to clients. It is a dynamic process that fosters reflective practice, cultivates resilience, and ultimately safeguards the well-being of both therapists and those they serve.
As a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in both practice and supervision, I am passionate about mentoring and providing supervision to therapists and clinicians. My training spans cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, trauma-informed approaches, and psychodynamic therapy. I enjoy taking a relational approach and encouraging clinicians to harness the interpersonal dynamics in the room to deepen and enrich therapeutic treatment.
Most important to me in my role as a supervisor to therapists is the support that supervision can provide. Too often during training, people feel evaluated and fearful of making a mistake. My aim is to support and empower the clinicians I supervise to hone and trust their clinical judgment. With a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth, I am dedicated to guiding and supporting clinicians as they navigate the complexities of the therapeutic process.
